winter TraditionOur history – Restaurant Liftstüberl

Our restaurant was founded in 1970 by Josef Gabloner as a small “ski hut” directly alongside the “Guns” ski lift.

For 20 years, hard-working tenants ran the establishment until, in 1990, Karl Gabloner inherited it from his father, since which time he has run the family business together with his wife, Anita.

Little by little the Liftstüberl has been rebuilt and extended, including refurnishing the 30-seat dining room, redesigning the entrance area and creating parking spaces.

hausalt TraditionUpstairs a private apartment was built for the family to live in with the four children, Miriam, Martin, Manuel and Max. In 2000 our restaurant was enhanced by the addition of a sunny conservatory, providing an additional 30 seating places.
